Tambo Design has launched the ‘EARTH’ initiative - the first commercial artwork recycle/regenerate/reuse initiative in the UK.

Our customers now have the opportunity to help save the environment by reducing the unnecessary use of raw materials and energy that would have otherwise been used during the process of producing an original piece of artwork.

The ‘EARTH’ initiative allows customers to have their existing Tambo original artwork completely refurbished and repainted in a new palette of colours at a fraction of the price of commissioning a new piece of artwork.

Alternatively, customers can part-exchange their existing Tambo original artwork for a new piece of Tambo original artwork – the part-exchanged artwork is then refurbished and resold under the ‘EARTH’ brand.

A donation of 10% of all proceeds of ‘EARTH’ sales will be donated to ‘Friends of the Earth’ to fund awareness of environmental issues.

Tambo Design would be especially interested in working alongside any individuals or organisations with a common interest in reducing or eliminating all artwork wastage generated, in particular, by scheduled refurbishment programmes within the hotel and leisure industry.

Tambo Design aim to expand the ‘EARTH’ initiative to include picture frames, mirrors and art prints during the near future.
