Tambo Original Artwork can be produced on either stretched canvas or in any of three framing options including a ‘shadow gap frame’ – all picture framing is carried out by our in-house ‘Guild Commended’ picture framing team to your specific requirements.

Each unique piece is signed with the name ‘Tambo’ and has been hand painted by our studio artists. Our original artwork incorporates the use of many different rendering and finishing techniques such as gilding, embossing, collage, etching and engraving along with a variety of mixed media such as textured plaster, metal leaf, acrylic and oil paints, pastels and bronzing powders.

Tambo Original Artwork on canvas is finished on all four edges and no staples or fixings are visible. Each finished piece is sprayed with an acrylic sealer to allow for a more robust and durable surface, minimising the possibility of damage to the painted surface when dusting or handling.

Our canvases and picture frames are supplied ready to hang with a label of authenticity certifying that the product is original and hand painted in Scotland by Tambo Design.

Our entire original artwork range is available in any size and any colour combination to co-ordinate with specific project requirements.

Tambo Original Artwork is especially suitable for use by interior designers, developers and architects for hotel and showhome projects or when an artwork solution is required at a budget cost.

Any of the designs within the Tambo Original Artwork range can be produced in sets of two (diptych) or three (triptych) if a particular visual effect is required. Simply state the design you wish to be made into a diptych or triptych at the time of placing your order - we can provide a simple sketch to visually explain the composition of the diptych/triptych if required.
